Company History
DFW-based Craig's Collision Centers has been a mainstay in the collision repair marketplace since 1979, when Dallas native Craig Van Cleve opened the first Craig's Collision Center at the corner of Main and Oakland in Dallas' Deep Ellum district.
Brother Kyle Van Cleve joined Craig's a year later in 1980. A second location was opened the same year in Farmers Branch. In 1986, the two brothers decided to close the original location and replace it with a new Craig's Collision Center in Duncanville. Four additional locations followed: Arlington, Texas in 1991, Grapevine, Texas in 1995, Fort Worth, Texas in 1998 and Bedford, Texas in 2002.
In July of 2002 Craig and Kyle expanded into the Austin, Texas market by purchasing B&B Body and Paint, an established and well respected auto body repair facility. The first B & B Body and Paint was opened in Austin in 1974. A second Austin location was added in 1995 and a third location was opened in 1996 in San Marcos, Texas. The Van Cleve's added a fourth B&B Body and Paint location in Round Rock, Texas in May 2004.
